Dwelly acquires second agency of 2026
Dwelly has continued its rapid start to 2026, announcing the acquisition of Goodwin Property Services, marking the firm’s second acquisition of the year as it accelerates its strategy to expand its national lettings platform.
The deal follows closely on from Dwelly’s first acquisition of 2026 and reflects the firm’s ambition to build on the landmark growth achieved during 2025, as it continues to scale through the addition of high-quality, service-led lettings businesses.
Based in Stamford, Goodwin Property is a well-established and highly respected agency, having earned a strong reputation within the local market, built on a consistent commitment to customer service and long-standing landlord relationships.
Goodwin Property Services oversees a portfolio of some 330 fully managed rental properties alongside a successful residential sales operation, with both sides of the business being acquired by Dwelly.
Founder Simon Burton will continue to support the business, ensuring continuity for clients, landlords and the wider team as Goodwin enters its next chapter as part of the Dwelly Group.
With the addition of Goodwin Property Services, Dwelly continues to strengthen its growing national footprint, as it works towards its stated ambition of significantly increasing the number of businesses within its platform.
The transaction was brokered by Adam Walker, who advised on the deal, whilst the audit was undertaken by Lets Acquire.
Simon Burton, Founder of Goodwin Property, commented:
“Providing a great service to landlords and home sellers across Stamford and the wider area has always been our key focus at Goodwin, and it’s something that’s shaped the business from the very beginning.
This core identity was something I simply wasn’t willing to compromise on and, from the outset, it was clear that Dwelly places real importance on maintaining the DNA of the businesses they acquire, whilst introducing the technology and operational support that helps them continue to evolve.
That gave me complete confidence that Goodwin is in the right hands moving forward.”
Sam Humphreys, Head of M&A at Dwelly, commented:
“We’re delighted to have acquired another high-quality business so early in 2026 and it’s a deal that will help maintain the acquisition momentum we’ve built consistently over the last year.
Goodwin is a business that has earned a fantastic reputation within its local market, built on consistently delivering for its landlords and home sellers over many years. Those are exactly the kinds of foundations we look for when bringing a business into the Dwelly Group.
Our role is to support that success, providing the technology and infrastructure that allows the team to continue delivering the same high standards, while also helping the business operate more efficiently.”
